It all started in local parks, where we shared our handmade churros and Mexican treats with anyone craving something delicious. 

Word spread quickly, and soon we were catering parties, popping up at events, and hearing one big question over and over again:

So, we rolled forward.

The Name, the Flavor, the Tradition

At El Churro Panzón—which playfully translates to “The Fat Churro”—we’re serving more than just dessert. Our name is a tribute to our roots in Ocotlán, Jalisco, where the churro gordo, a famously plump and golden treat, has delighted locals for generations.
We’ve taken that cherished tradition and rolled it into something fresh, fun, and uniquely ours. Every bite of our churros carries the soul of Mexican street food—recipes passed down, lovingly perfected, and now shared with a new generation of churro lovers. It’s about preserving flavor, sparking nostalgia, and honoring our heritage with every sweet, cinnamon-dusted bite.

You may have seen us at Smorgasburg LA, on KTLA 5, or catering for Netflix’s DEXTER. We’ve proudly served college grads from East LA College, teamed up with Pierce College, and partnered with nonprofits like KYCC Los Angeles to give back to our community.
